The only difference between CCleaner and Windows Disk Cleanup is that CCleaner will also "clean" your registry (something nontypical user ever needs to do, and that CAN certainly cause harm) windows disk cleanup will remove all the same temp files. That totally unskilled user should categorically not use a tool like CCleaner. When free space gets low, Windows will suggest running it's own cleanup tool which is perfectly adequate.
